Transfer of debentures (with form)

Bond transfer: You can choose from two methods of transferring securities:

  1. Transfer of debentures by endorsement :
The registrar will certify the transfer only when the transferor and/or transferee presents the debentures and notifies the registrar of the transfer in order to record the transfer in the debenture registrar system. The name of the debenture holder on the front of the debentures remains that of the original debenture holder, but the name of the transferee will be displayed on the back of the debentures in the transferee field.
  2. Transfer of debentures by issuing new debenture certificates,
the registrar will print new debenture certificates, indicating the name of the debenture holder who is receiving the transfer of rights

Filling out forms and submitting documents

  • The transferee completes the Securities Transfer Registration Form and submits all documents (according to the details specified in the Registrar's form) in person to present himself or herself before the Registrar at the head office of the Registrar of Debentures or a branch of Siam Commercial Bank, and also informs the Registrar that he or she wishes to transfer the Debentures by endorsement or by issuing a new Debenture Certificate.
